Dear CCC Family,

After much prayer, counsel, and consideration we will not be having services on Sunday, March 22th or Wednesday, March 25th. Though we do not live in fear, we do want to show caution concerning our present health crisis. We encourage everyone to adhere to the recommendations of the CDC and to remain homebound as much as possible.

Let’s pray that God will keep His hand on our families, community, country, and world. Also, let’s pray for our government officials that they will make wise and sound decisions that will bring an accelerated close to this national crisis.

Psalm 91:1-7 says, “ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.”

In closing, I pray this prayer over each of you: “May the Lord bless and protect you; may the Lord’s face radiate with joy because of you; may he be gracious to you, show you his favor, and give you his peace”(Numbers 6:24-26, LB).
